Cemetery Committee - Meet Dan Kaufman

Dan Kaufman, shown here, is a member of Hinsdale's Cemetery Committee.  The Cemetery Committee responds to public inquiries from family members, sells plots, and works with family members and Funeral Home staff on the planning of funerals.  The Cemetery Committee also manages the cemetery budget and oversees capital projects for our Cemetery, cares for our Military Veterans' flags and flag holders, and makes minor repairs to the signage and other other areas in need of repair.   

The Cemetery Committee receives assistance from Gary Daniels and his Team, who do an outstanding job managing the landscape and burials, and have a historical knowledge of the grounds.  The Cemetery Committee is also supported by Town Historian Mary Rice (researching records), Dick Eastland with the capital projects like the Arch and Mausoleum restorations, and Treasurer-Collector Lynne Baumgartner , who helped initiate the database buried and receives and processes all payments.

However, additional support is required.   Please contact Dan if you have the time and desire to help our Community honor those who chose our Maple Street Cemetery as their final resting place.
