There are 394 residents of Hinsdale who made a $49 deposit for WiredWest who did not request a refund. Each has been sent an email or mail reminding them to request a refund with no reply. Their deposits were escheated to the state on 12/31/20. These deposits may be claimed at findmassmoney.com
Annual Town Census mailed to residents
The Town's Annual Street Listing will be mailed to all residents this week. The Census is a requirement of State Law. Residents who fail to respond will be removed from the active voting list.
Households that have dependent children should make sure to include them on the form and complete the information that pertains to each child.
Forms should be mailed back within ten days using the enclosed return envelope. Any resident who did not receive a Census Form should call the Town Clerk's Office at 413 655 2301 and one will be sent to them.
Water/Sewer Bills Mailed, due February 3rd
By now residents should have received their Water/Sewer bill which is due on or before February 3rd. This bill can be paid by check and mailed to: Town of Hinsdale, 39 South St., Hinsdale, MA 01235. Also, for your convenience we have provided online bill pay. Making a payment is quick and easy; simply go to www.hinsdalemass.com; click on “Pay Taxes and Fees,” and follow the instructions to process your payment. FYI: The correct billing period is 01/01/2021 to 06/30/2021.
