• Officer Dominic Cruipi returned to work on March 18, 2024, and at last night’s Select Board Meeting he was promoted to Sergeant to a loud applause from all present. Please join us in welcoming Sergeant Crupi home to Hinsdale.
• As you may know, Hinsdale’s Police Chief Susan Rathbun has announced her retirement, effective May 31, 2024. Be sure to thank Susan for her dedication and service to Hinsdale.
• The Hinsdale Select Board in now seeking seven volunteers to participate in the Police Chief Search Committee. If interested, please send your brief letter of intent to The Select Board, either by email at select.board@hinsdalema.gov or by mailing to 39 South St, Hinsdale, MA 01235, no later than Friday, April 19, 2024. We will review candidates for the committee at the next Select Board on April 24, 2024.
• The Western Massachusetts Police Chief’s Association has been asked to assist the Select Board and Search Committee with this important search. The Board will share additional information as it becomes available.
