Conflict of Interest Training Seminars

To all Cities and Towns:

The State Ethics Commission hosts free, bi-monthly training seminars for state, county and municipal employees on the restrictions imposed under the conflict of interest law, G.L. c. 268A. These two-hour seminars present an opportunity for cities and towns to have new hires receive important training on the law. Seminars are conducted remotely via Zoom video conference and are scheduled every other month on the 4th Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m. unless otherwise indicated. Registrations are currently being accepted for the following seminar dates:

To register for the May 30th or July 25th seminars, please click the registration link associated with each date. Attendance is limited to 100 per seminar.

If your city or town hasn’t hosted a seminar in a while, please consider scheduling one.  Contact me at 617-371-9505 or David.Giannotti@mass.gov for more information or to schedule a seminar.  Additional information on educational seminars can be found on the Commission’s website, www.mass.gov/orgs/state-ethics-commission
