2023 ELECTION NEWS FOR THE TOWN OF HINSDALE 

 

Wednesday, May 10, 2023, Annual Town Meeting -  Kittredge School -  7:00pm

Saturday, May 13, 2023, Annual Town Election  -  Town Hall  - 10:00 am -6:00 pm

 

Final day to register to vote at town meeting or election: 

Friday, April 28, 2023  -  9:00-11:00 am and 3:00-5:00 pm.

 

Nomination papers are available for the following offices that will appear on the ballot: 

 

  1. Select Board for 3 years
  2. Assessor for 3 years

1 – Assessor for 2 year

3 – Finance Committee for 3 years

2 – Finance Committee for 2 years

1 – Finance Committee for 1 year

1 – Planning Board for 5 years

1 – Planning Board for 2 years

1 – Town Clerk 3 years

 

Nomination papers may be taken out starting March 8th at 6:00 pm.

The last day to obtain papers is March 23, 2023.

The Last day to submit papers is March 27, 2023 by 5:00 pm.

 

Absentee ballot applications are available in the Town Clerk’s office. You may also apply by e-mailing the Town Clerk’s office with a letter of request (clerk@hinsdalema.gov). This must have a signature. Absentee ballot applications are also available on the Secretary of State’s website and the Hinsdale website under forms/town clerk/see all. You may complete your absentee ballot either by mail or in the office. If you are using mail, please apply in a timely fashion so the ballot has time to go back and forth through the mail. The last day to apply for an application in person is 12:00pm on May 12.
