Overview
The duties and responsibilities of a Conservation Commission are set forth in the MA Conservation Commission Act. The Conservation Commission is the official agency specifically charged with the protection of our community's natural resources, particularly Hinsdale's wetland resource areas in accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act. The Commission also advises other municipal officials and boards on conservation issues that relate to their areas of responsibility.
