Outdoor Space and Recreation Plan Survey
THE TOWN OF HINSDALE NEEDS YOUR HELP! The Town is updating its Open Space and Recreation Plan. Your input and opinions will help us to set future priorities. These questions examine interest and opinion regarding open space, recreation, and historic resources in the Town of Hinsdale. Open space is defined as land that has not been developed for residential, commercial or industrial uses and includes publicly and privately owned land. Open space often includes:
1. Land which contributes to the public water supply
2. Forests, fields, and agricultural lands
4. Rivers, streams, and lakes
5. Parks and other recreation lands
6. Wildlife or animal habitats
7. Land which preserves scenic views or town character
This survey is intended to gain information and opinions from Hinsdale residents, seasonal residents, and business owners. There are 13 questions and the survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
Paper copies are available at the Town Administrator's office in Town Hall and can be returned to the Town Administrator as well. Paper copies are also available at the Hinsdale Public Library, the Police Department and the Transfer Station.
The survey will remain open until August 25th, 2018.
