Discussed interdepartmental communication disconnect and implementing solutions

Open Forum

Wetherell inquired as to why submitted real estate abatement was not acted on immediately upon submission 11/29/2021

Scheid responded clarifying that a decision would be made before the end of the month

Wetherell suggested Assessing department, having known decisions would be delayed, reach out to those who applied prior to taxpayers getting upset

Mason responded with a review of the communication issues addressed at the top of the meeting ensuring that there is a plan to implement better practices

Executive Session Motion Passes 2-0-0

Mason motions to close open meeting and open executive session, Scialabba seconds
